A wonderful natural scenery, so close to Lisbon! If you love the sea and the beach, as well as nature, this one's for you. We will explore the best view over Lisbon through Almada, the vast sands of Costa da Caparica full of fishing tradition and Seixal, a land of fishermen and seigneurial farms, a town that is part of the Setúbal Peninsula and has its value in a beautiful natural bay that has given it a very strong connection to the Tagus River over the centuries.
One of the team members will meet you at 9:00 am at the Cais do Sodré River Station in Lisbon. Together you will catch the Ferry Boat to Cacilhas, enjoying the morning air and the city view. The van is waiting for you on the other side of the river to proceed the trip to Cristo Rei, one of Lisbon’s most iconic monuments. We will make a stop there to enjoy one of the best views of Lisbon.
From there we go straight to Costa da Caparica, a beautiful ride along the coast with a few stops to enjoy the beach and admire the beautiful cliffs. There is still time to look for fishermen and get in touch with the neighbourhood. If you are a fan of good fish you are in the right place. Take a break for lunch (own expense) in Fonte da Telha. Lots of options, feel free to ask your guide for recommendations.
The trip continues after lunch upriver to Seixal, along the roads near the shores discovering many beautiful spots, wildlife, old mills and the history around the powerful Tagus river.
It is the end of our tour. With all these amazing stories and experiences on your backpack aboard our lovely classic van, we will drop you at the hotel or city centre around 6:00 pm.
